AMTEC'S 10-YEAR GROWTH IN REVENUES
The more-than-quadrupling of revenues in 10 years (4.5 was the actual growth factor) is better than achieved by renowned CEOs. In the first 10 years that Tim Cook ran Apple, he did half as well, with revenues doubling. Jack Welch, who ran General Electric and was called the "Manager of the Century" by Fortune magazine, increased revenues by a factor of 5, but he did it over 19 years, nearly twice as long. It took 16 years for Cuban-born Roberto Goizueta, Chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola, to triple sales.
